Neon
truck lights have been around for a while, but they are still a popular
item to add that extra flash to impress your friends. Though true neon
produces only a bright orange color, when combined with other Noble
gases, neon-type lights can be purchased in a range of colors –
red, purple, yellow, blue, etc.
Neon truck lights are not street legal in a lot of states in the U.S.,
but that doesn’t stop truck owners from using them for shows or
gatherings. License plate holders are another popular (and street legal)
application for neon lights. The most popular place to mount neon lights
is below running boards and inside the cab.
Other popular neon truck lights applications include tailgate truck
bars with reverse lights, and wheel well lights. Light-emitting diodes
(LEDs) are also commonly used to make a wide range of fluorescent colors.
These range from mono colors to more than 2.1 million shades!
