A
custom truck bumper may actually cost you less than a standard replacement
bumper. When a bumper needs to be replaced the new bumper will usually
come directly from the factory and most likely be painfully expensive.
A custom bumper could save some cash and will look terrific. As with
any automotive modification there will be restrictions.
With a new custom truck bumper air dams may need to be replaced to
match the bumper. Fog lights may need to be replaced or installed as
well. Grille modifications may also be required. New custom bumpers
will come with a glossy chrome finish or ready to be painted. Although
these modifications seem daunting, they will be completed by professionals
and will give the truck a unique look.
A custom truck bumper may also be needed or wanted for the rear. Custom
back bumpers are not as popular or varied as their front counterparts.
A back bumper may be purchased simply as a replacement to protect the
truck from collision and road debris damage. They may also be beefed
up to include a step or allow for a rear cargo rack or tow kit to be
installed.
