When you buy a new truck, you sometimes don’t think about the smaller things, like bug shields, cassette players and cruise control. But, when the time comes that you need one of these items, you will definitely miss it, even though you may not have thought about it earlier.

There is nothing glamorous about bug shields, but if you take a drive down the interstate and then stop and come to realize that your vehicle is now covered with dozens of dead bugs, you definitely will wish you had some kind of shield in place.

Also, cruise control is something that could get overlooked when buying a car. There can be so many cool new features to a vehicle that something as simple as cruise control may be forgotten about. You should try to remember to as about it before the purchase is complete. Sure, most new vehicles have it, but you would be wise to make sure.

So, by remembering about even the most mundane parts of a vehicle - like bug shields - you will be able to better prepare yourself for you ownership of the vehicle.
